The clothing industry accounts for 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions<\/a>, and has significant consequences for water consumption, pollution, and waste. One in five garments<\/a> must be traded through a circular business model to reach the 1.5-degree target by 2030, according to analysis firm McKinsey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a report by SIFO and OsloMet, 86% of clothes are bought new<\/a>. The greatest interest in buying second-hand is among women aged 18 to 29, who purchase 12% of their clothes used.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n
