Nysn\u00f8 invests in Lace Lithography<\/h1>\n\n\n

Stavanger, 24 March 2026: Nysn\u00f8 invests in the Norwegian technology company Lace Lithography, which is developing a new and more energy-efficient technology\u00a0for the production of\u00a0microchips. The investment is made alongside a strong international investor consortium led by\u00a0Atomico.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nysn\u00f8 is investing one million euros in Lace Lithography as part of a Series A round totaling approximately 40 million euros. Other investors include\u00a0Atomico, Microsoft\u2019s venture arm M12, as well as existing investors such as Future Ventures,\u00a0Vsquared\u00a0Ventures, and Runa Capital.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lace Lithography, headquartered in Bergen, is developing a groundbreaking lithography technology that could revolutionize microchip manufacturing. The company\u2019s technology uses metastable helium atoms instead of light, enabling significantly higher precision,\u00a0substantially lower\u00a0energy consumption, and reduced production costs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
