Startuplab, Norway\u2019s most active early-stage investor, is now increasing its focus on climate and environmental investments driven by strong deal flow. In addition, Nysn\u00f8 and Startuplab are strengthening their collaboration to promote Norwegian early-stage climate technology companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Startuplab is a pre-seed investor that has raised five funds and invested in over 180 companies since 2013. In addition to being an investor, Startuplab operates Norway\u2019s largest incubator, housing over 100 startups.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Startuplab has experienced significant growth in climate-related investment opportunities. With its fifth fund, approximately half of the investments will be directed toward climate, environment, and energy. To accelerate the growth of Norwegian climate technology companies, Nysn\u00f8 is investing NOK 30 million in the fund.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u2013 We see this as an opportunity to invest in a leading incubator and accelerator with unique deal flow, a strong brand, and a refined, proven investment strategy that has historically delivered strong return<\/em>s, says Paal Rogdeberg, Investment Manager at Nysn\u00f8.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A broader climate collaboration<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nysn\u00f8 aims to support Norwegian climate tech startups in the pre-seed phase and create greater growth opportunities for these companies. Therefore, Nysn\u00f8 is expanding its collaboration with Startuplab by contributing to platforms where companies and investors can meet. As part of this, Nysn\u00f8 will co-host Startuplab\u2019s flagship conference, Climate Summit 2030, in October during Oslo Innovation Week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u2013 <em>Startuplab has systematically built a strong network for its companies and investors.
