Autonomous Vessels for a sustainable maritime future
Headquartered in Trondheim, Maritime Robotics specializes in the development of autonomous systems and unmanned vessels that reduce the need for traditional manned, diesel-powered ships. This provides both economic and environmental benefits by cutting costs, reducing emissions, and increasing operational efficiency. The company has established a leading position in the USV (Uncrewed Surface Vessels) segment and has developed innovative solutions specifically tailored for data collection, seabed mapping, and inspection for the global maritime market.

Strategic growth and innovation
Maritime Robotics is well-positioned for further growth both nationally and internationally. The capital injection strengthens the company’s market position and increases its capacity to develop technology that drives the maritime industry of the future, with a focus on sustainability, safety, and innovation.

“Maritime Robotics represents the kind of innovation that can accelerate the green transition in the maritime sector. Their autonomous vessels and technology reduce both emissions and costs while helping to streamline operations globally. We see great potential in their solutions and are excited to support their continued growth,” says Jean-Baptiste Curien, Director of Climate Technology at Nysnø Climate Investments.

“We are very pleased to have both existing and new investors join our team. We are proud of our journey so far and motivated for what lies ahead,” says Vegard Evjen Hovstein, founder and CEO of Maritime Robotics.
