AI-based autonomy for heavy industrial machinery
Hive is a technology company that develops AI-based remote operation and autonomy for heavy industrial machinery. The solution can be retrofitted to machines already in use, such as forklifts and wheel loaders, so that one operator can control several machines remotely at the same time.
While the system is in use, Hive collects data to further develop its own AI model, ODIN. The goal is for the machines to gradually become able to operate fully on their own.
More efficient use of machinery and resources
The technology is aimed at intralogistics, construction and heavy industry, among other sectors. In these industries, more automation can improve capacity utilisation and make better use of machinery and resources. Because the solution is retrofitted, companies can get more out of the machines they already have.
Nysnø invested in Hive in May 2026. The investment will help develop and commercialise the technology further, and scale a solution for more efficient and resource-smart operation of heavy machinery.
